cheetah cubs namibia

More cheetah cubs…

Lightning can strike twice. Another cheetah has just had her own cubs, but this time there are four.

The cubs are very close to each other, about 30 metres away from their careful hiding places in deep thickets, on the Okonjima game reserve, Namibia.

The find was very exciting for the Okonjima guide and his guests, as normally the cheetahs are quite relaxed and let visitors come within 10 metres or so. However this time, Tongs as she is called, aggressively charged the guide – to within about a metre!

On further inspection this is what Mike, the Okonjima guide and his visitors saw:

They really are beautiful and the photographs really tell an amazing story of the Okonjima game reserve and the AfriCat foundation.
