“True luxury in Namibia”

We stayed at Okonjima Bush Camp for the last two nights of our second trip to Namibia, when we also took our three elderly parents. We had stayed at Okonjima two years earlier and loved the luxury both in terms of accommodation and food and hence saved it as the highlight of our return journey. Yet again, the food was excellent and the rooms were really comfortable and well appointed. The website photos do not lie, the tented rooms are spectacular. A really nice touch is the tin of bird seed provided in each rondavel, which meant you could sit out and relax, whilst watching the local birdlife just outside the window, including some rather optimistic guinea fowl!
We enjoyed three game drives, (as we had to leave early on the last morning) and had excellent sightings of leopard, hyena and cheetahs, whilst accompanied by engaged and knowledgeable guides. This was a super end to our holiday – and we are already planning another return!
Stayed June 2015, traveled with family.

This was the best place we stayed during our stay in Namibia. Pure luxury. From the rooms with huge windows across from the bed, excellent safaris, very nice and helpful staff and very good dinner and breakfast.
Stayed July 2015, traveled as a couple.
